There are lots of other hotels in downtown Victoria and all of them are a short walk to the Laurel Point Inn.
The grandaddy of Victoria hotels is the Fairmont Empress and is hotel pictured to the right. It ain't cheap, but it is quite the venue. Even if you can't afford to stay, it is worth a wander around inside the main area.
Below is a list of hotels that my Mom has put together – please note the prices are correct at the time I’ve written this. You would need to contact the hotel to find out if the prices will be different in May 2007. You may well save money now by making a booking sooner rather than later.
For easy figuring, the exchange rate is 2 to 1, in other words, for every English Pound, you get TWO Canadian dollars. We’re nice like that.
Don’t forget, it’s a bank holiday weekend; so many hotels will fill up quickly.
